Sunday, March 20th, finds the Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings playing for the second of four scheduled meetings this season. The teams have split the two prior games with the Suns winning 110-107 on October 27th while the Kings won 109-104 on November 8th. Phoenix will host the final meeting on April 10th.
Both teams last played on Friday with the Suns defeating the Bulls 129-102 while the Kings lost 97-126 to the Celtics.

In the victory versus the Bulls, all five starters plus Landry Shamet (14) and JaVale McGee (12) reached double-figure scoring. Booker led the way with 28 points while Ayton served up another double-double offered 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Cameron Payne (15), Torrey Craig (14), and Bridges (11) were the other double-figure scorers.
Jae Crowder (groin) is questionable while Cameron Johnson (quad) was downgraded to out on Sunday. Chris Paul (thumb), Dario Saric (knee), and Frank Kaminsky (knee) are out indefinitely.
Sacramento Kings
The Kings have dropped to 12th in the West and have lost 11 of their last 13 matches. In spite of that futility (or tanking depending on how you view it) De’Aaron Fox has played great since the threat of being the player to be traded vanished.
In his 11 appearances since returning from the break, he’s averaging 29.3 points, 7.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. Perhaps the most obvious sign he’s playing more relaxed is his improved 3-point shooting which is now above the league average 36.8 percent on 6.2 attempts.
De’Aaron Fox (hand) is questionable while Jeremy Lamb (personal) was upgraded to probable for Sunday. Terence Davis (wrist) is out indefinitely while Richaun Holmes (personal) is done for the season.

Notably, Sacramento is one of the teams that has played Phoenix well and could easily be up 2-0 instead of tied through two matches. For that reason (and even with the threat of Fox being out) I’m taking the points and the Kings.
