The Phoenix Suns are coming off a 114-99 win against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night. Phoenix dominated in the second half as they outscored the Pacers 62-51. DeAndre Ayton led the Suns with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Devin Booker went for 20 points and 10 assists in the victory.
Chris Johnson finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Cameron Payton added 15 points off the bench. The Suns had trouble containing Malcolm Brogdon who had 25 points and six assists. A key in the game came on the glass where the Suns out-rebounded the Pacers 53-38.
Miami Heat
The Miami Heat are coming off a 130-116 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. Miami led by 17 at the half before falling apart in the second half. It was a good effort for the Heat considering that they didn’t have Butler.
Duncan Robinson led the Heat with 21 points on 5-of-9 from deep. Tyler Herro was terrific going for 20 points and five assists off the bench. The Bucks shot 53 percent from the field and the Heat shot 42 percent. Miami had no answer for Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo who had 33 points apiece in the Bucks win.
