Chris Paul (1 of 5) and Devin Booker (1 of 6) had a rough shooting night from the perimeter but delivered nonetheless. CP3 offered 14 points, nine assists, four rebounds, a steal, and a block while Booker delivered 11 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson each scored 12 points as the other Suns double-digit contributors.
Abdel Nader (conditioning), Landry Shamet (ankle), Cameron Payne (wrist), Dario Saric (knee), and Frank Kaminsky (knee) are all out indefinitely
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls arrive having played on Sunday on the front side of a tough back to back set that featured the 76ers. This match is their third game in four nights.
In losing to Philly the Bulls feel out of the top spot in the East and are in a virtual tie with the Bucks with the Cavaliers a half game behind them and the 76ers now only a game back.
That they held on as long as they did with the loss of two core contributors is a testament to their depth and quality roster.
DeMar DeRozan sure did his best on Sunday to lead his squad scoring 45 points plus nine rebounds, seven assists, and a steal.
Unfortunately, he needed more help and only got double-figure scoring from Nikola Vucevic (23) and Javonte Green (17). Adding to their injure woes both Zach LaVine (back) and Coby White (groin) were out Sunday and are questionable for Monday.
Derrick Jones Jr. (knee), Lonzo Ball (knee), and Alex Caruso (wrist) are out between six and eight weeks each. Patrick Williams (thumb) is out for the season.
