The New York Knicks host the Philadelphia 76ers for a Friday night contest.

New York has had issues all season on both ends throughout the season. The team is in the middle of a rebuild. Philadelphia is in win now mode with a 12-6 record.

Philadelphia is led by their star center Joel Embiid who is averaging 21.8 points and 12 rebounds. New York on the other hand is led by Marcus Morris Sr. (19.3 ppg), and Julius Randle (16.3 ppg).

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are coming off a 97-91 win against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Philadelphia used a 29-19 third quarter to take control of the contest. Joel Embiid who went scoreless in the worst game of his career against Toronto bounced back.

The superstar center had 33 points and 16 rebounds. Ben Simmons went for 10 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists.

Matisse Thybulle had one of his best games of the season. The rookie had 15 points and four steals.

The 76ers shot 46 percent from the field and the Kings shot 41 percent. Philadelphia out-rebounded Sacramento 50-42 in the contest.

New York Knicks

New York is coming off a 126-98 loss against a hot Toronto Raptors team. After trailing by eight in the first quarter the Raptors outscored the Knicks 105-69 the rest of the way. The Knicks had no answer for Pascal Siakam who had 31 points and eight rebounds.

Julius Randle had a strong game with 19 points and eight rebounds in 24 minutes. RJ Barrett went for 16 points and five rebounds in the loss.

The Knicks shot only 38 percent from the floor while allowing Toronto to shoot 49 percent. The Raptors out-rebounded the Knicks 52-45 in the contest.

Allonzo Trier added 10 points. The Knicks only had three players in double-figures.
