Friday, March 25th, 2022 finds the Philadelphia 76ers facing the LA Clippers for the second and final meeting this season. The Clippers won the initial match 102-101 on January 21st.
The 76ers last played on Wednesday beating the Lakers 126-121 while the Clippers lost 115-127 to the Nuggets on Tuesday.
Last season, the teams played twice with the teams splitting the games each winning on their home court. The 76ers hold the all-time record having bested the Clippers in 74 of their 135 matches.

Joel Embiid is visibly moving stiffly with that back clearly bothering him. James Harden also suffered a few setbacks in the match although he finished the game.
Harden has never been a player with blistering speed but he’s definitely lost a step which could be tied to the issues with his ongoing hamstring problem.
They still put up stats with Embiid registering a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds plus three assists, three steals, and three blocks while Harden provided 24 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris each found a way to contribute in this match which hasn’t been the case in the early integration of Harden. Maxey offered 21 points, five rebounds, and seven assists while Harris registered 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Jaden Springer (groin) is questionable for Saturday.
LA Clippers
Don’t look now but Paul George moved up his rehab practicing with the team and is looking more and more likely to be returning this season. It’s felt like this could happen all season and that the Clippers have quietly just stayed mum on the situation.
Ideally, you know they wanted Kawhi Leonard back too and perhaps that news is still coming but getting back George would be huge and make life for the Grizzlies difficult should they end up having to face the Clippers with one (or two) of their stars who will be well-rested.
The presumption is George and Norman Powell will both return but Leonard still appears to be out for the season.
LA has the fewest games left on their schedule with eight and hasn’t been playing well losing four in a row with five of their next six against teams seeded fifth or higher.
Jason Preston (foot), Powell (foot), George (elbow), and Leonard (knee) are out indefinitely. Jay Scrubb (toe) is lost for the season.
