Toronto looked sharp in dispatching Chicago on Saturday night on the road. They return home for this one.
Orlando was flat is losing to Atlanta in their Saturday night game. This is not a great spot to get back on track.
This is a rematch of last year’s first round series in the Eastern Conference. Orlando won game one in Toronto but was then dispatched rather easily.
Orlando Magic
For a playoff team the Magic thought they might get off to a fast start taking on Cleveland and Atlanta in their first two games.
They beat the Cavs but lost to Atlanta. Their offense has been struggling early but that is no surprise.

It is early but you have to wonder about the development program of Orlando. The only guy on their roster who has gotten better and exceeded expectations is Nikola Vucevic.
They are not getting much out of Jonathan Isaac and Mo Bamba with Isaac especially being a disappointment. A classic case of drafting potential over production.
That is why it is so critical for the Magic to play good defense. They did last season and through a couple of games this year it looks like they have maintained that edge.
Markelle Fultz is third on the team in scoring. He still has a long way to go to justify being drafted but at least there is some production there.
The backcourt of the Magic is among the least imposing in the league.
Toronto Raptors
Toronto looked sharp on Saturday taking care of Chicago on the road in a back to back situation.

They lost at Boston, a place they always struggle but they are always a tough out at home. With every game we are seeing coach Nick Nurse probing to see who he can rely on beyond players that were core to last year’s championship.
It is not a new face but Pascal Siakam has continued his rise to start the season. He is averaging 29 and 10 this season and shooting the ball really well. That might be a bit lofty to maintain but he is the top option for the Raptors right now.
Fred VanVleet scored over 30 in their opener but has cooled a little. His shooting has still been money and he is starting with Kyle Lowry to give Toronto the savviest backcourt in the league. They are getting nice contributions from most of the lineup but need more from Marc Gasol.
