Monday, January 13th, finds the Orlando Magic facing the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center. This is the first meeting between the squads this season.

The Magic last played on Friday losing to the Suns 94-98. The Suns built a 10-point first half lead and while the Magic cut into that with a 27-19 point third quarter they lost the final frame and inevitably the match.

In the loss, Nikola Vucevic delivered a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Evan Fournier led the scoring effort with 28 points while Terrence Ross (18) and Markelle Fultz (15) were the other double-figure contributors.

In their last game, the Kings got ousted by the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 127-106. Sacramento allowed the Bucks to score over 30 points in three of the four quarters. Nemanja Bjelica delivered a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Both De’Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes scored 19 points while Buddy Hield (16), Trevor Ariza (11), and Harry Giles (10) were the other double-figure contributors.
On the season the team leaders are Buddy Hield for scoring (20.3 points) and Cory Joseph for assists (3.7). Richaun Holmes leads in all other categories including rebounds (8.5), field goal percentage (66.0%), steals (1.1) and blocks (1.4).
Six Kings are in various stages of injury with Nemanja Bjelica (right ankle sprain), Harrison Barnes (left knee), and Marvin Bagley III (left mid-foot sprain) all probable to play Monday.
Cory Joseph is battling an ailment and is therefore questionable for Monday. Richaun Holmes will be out until early February with a right shoulder strain.
Bogdan Bogdanovic missed his fourth consecutive game suffering from both a flu bug and right ankle soreness which will likely keep him out again.
