The win by the Raptors in OKC was arguably their best of the season. OKC wasn’t hampered by injuries at the time with each of SGA, JDub, Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, and Alex Caruso playing.
It was a clutch time win for Toronto of 103-101 as both clubs played lock down defense on one another.
Entering this match injuries will play a role as Jakob Poeltl is out likely because they are playing a back-to-back and will face Victor Wembanyama on Wednesday. As for the Thunder each of SGA, JDub, and Ajay Mitchell are out while Holmgren and Caruso are game time decisions.
OKC ranks second and the Raptors rank fifth at forcing turnovers so it could be the x-factor in this matchup. And, with so many Thunder ball handlers out (SGA, JDub, Mitchell) they’ve been more prone to have miscues.
