Losses at this time of the season can have dramatic effects as the Thunder hold just a two-game edge over the red hot Spurs while the Knicks are both chasing the Celtics and trying to hold off the Cavaliers.
When both squads play to their potential, this is a tough matchup, but while the Knicks have been winning, their opponents haven’t exactly pushed them. Whereas the match against the Hornets exposed some issues, which could be why Mike Brown sat KAT down the stretch of that loss.
Still, I expect a concerted effort from the Knicks, and while I think the Thunder prevail to capture the win, I’ll take the points and New York to keep it close.
