As for Tom Thibodeau, his main issue is trying to keep his players healthy and not overtax them via their playing time. Already without Julius Randle and Bojan Bogdanovic, he’s lost Mitchell Robinson and OG Anunoby in consecutive games and now Brunson is ailing.
Josh Hart played the entire game once again which begs the question of whether the Knicks core will be able to withstand these extended minutes as the series continues or if they’ll eventually wear down.
It’s a must-win for Indiana and I’m betting on their desperation (plus the absence of Anunoby).
