The timing of this game is also convenient in that the Pelicans are arguably the healthiest they’ve been all season and are currently on a four-game win streak.
In the last win, the Pelicans beat the Rockets although they were missing their top three players, they’ve also beat the Pacers, Nuggets, and Blazers.
Against the Rockets, four Pelicans scored 20 plus points with Lonzo Ball leading the way with a triple-double of 27 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds.
Former Lakers player Brandon Ingram also scored 27 points. Jrue Holiday and E’Twaun Moore registered 25 points while Derrick Favors delivered a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Los Angeles Lakers
The goal for the 2020 portion of the Lakers campaign was to not just win but to dominate. They got off to a good start in the match versus the Suns building a 36 point lead but then allowed Phoenix to fight back and pull within seven points.
The resulting effect was Frank Vogel had to bring LeBron James and Anthony Davis back in the game to secure the victory. Suffice to say it wasn’t an ideal scenario.

On the season Davis leads five key categories including points (27.3), rebounds (9.3), field goal percent (50.2%), blocks (2.5) and steals (1.4) while James is tops in assists (10.9).
Alex Caruso left the Suns match with calf tightness and is questionable for Friday. DeMarcus Cousins is rehabbing from his ACL tear and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
