Likewise, maintaining Brandon Ingram and McCollum’s production while fitting in Williamson will be a key to continued growth.
Brooklyn Nets
Ben Simmons will make his Nets regular season debut joining what on paper appears to be a formidable big three with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
With Durant requesting a trade this offseason and Irving’s tendency to be at the center of drama the question is how this team will ultimately mesh especially at the first sign of adversity.
They might not have to wait long given the injury situation with Seth Curry, Joe Harris, and TJ Warren all out to start the season. For all intents and purposes that means Brooklyn’s depth will be thin, especially on the perimeter.
Couple that issue with the prospect of playing Nic Claxton and Simmons together which isn’t ideal for floor spacing.
