Saturday, November 2, finds cross-conference rivals the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Washington Wizards facing each other for the first time in the 2019-20 season.
Last season, the squads played split the two meetings. The Wizards hold the all-time record having bested the Wolves 32 of their 57 matches.

The big dust-up in Philadelphia means the Washington Wizards will be the benefactor of one of the two games Karl-Anthony Towns will miss while he serves a two-game suspension.

Towns got into it with 76ers center Joel Embiid on and off the court to warrant the suspension. With the loss in Philly, the Wolves no longer boast an unbeaten record so they’ll be focused to return to the win column.

Bradley Beal and his Wizards gave the Rockets everything they could handle as they put up 158 points and still came out on the losing end of a one-point loss to Houston.

Seven Wizards posting double-digit efforts with every reserve making the mark. Beal led the way with 46 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. He was joined by rookie Rui Hachimura (23), Davis Bertans (21), Isaiah Thomas (17), Troy Brown Jr. (15), Thomas Bryant (13), and Moritz Wagner (12)
In just his second game back on the hardwood Thomas registered a double-double adding 10 assists. Bryant also produced a double-double with his 12 rebounds.
Jordan McCrae (ring finger fracture) and C.J. Miles (left foot stress fracture) are both out indefinitely. Ian Mahinmi (Achilles strain) will remain out of the lineup until mid-November while John Wall (Achilles rupture) will miss the entire season.
