Tuesday, February 8th, finds the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings playing the first of two consecutive games in a back-to-back set in Sacramento.
The clubs met earlier this season on November 17th with Minnesota winning by a score of 107-97. The match on Wednesday will complete the season series.
Minnesota last played on Sunday in a 118-105 victory versus the Pistons while Sacramento played Saturday defeating the Thunder (113-103).
Last season, the squads played three times with the Wolves winning two of the three contests. The Timberwolves hold the all-time record having bested the Kings in 63 of their 121 matches.

On the precipice of the trade deadline many eyes are set on the Kings to see what if any moves they’ll make this Thursday.
This was the season the Kings were supposed to make a move up the standings and at the very least make the play-in tournament. Instead, they start this week holding the 13th seed two games back of the Pelicans who hold the last play-in spot.
Certainly the Kings could go on a run that would pull them higher up the standings to get a play-in seed but after 15 years of lottery trips would playing one game and losing appease the fan base?
On the other hand, how satisfied would the fan base be to once again miss out on the postseason with a roster that still doesn’t mesh?
Diving deeper into the Kings dilemma the club has gone through 12 different coaches in those 15 seasons which may isolate the real issue in Sacramento — upper management.
De’Aaron Fox (ankle) and Marvin Bagley III (ankle) are questionable to play Tuesday versus the Wolves. Terence Davis (wrist) is out indefinitely.
