Free Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets NBA Prediction:
Tuesday, March 10th, finds the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Houston Rockets tipping off in the clubs’ fourth and final meeting of the season. Houston won all three prior matches.
Last season, the teams played three times with the Wolve taking two of three contests. The Rockets holds the all-time record having bested the Timberwolves in 80 of their 122 matches
Minnesota Timberwolves
This match marks the first of a six-game road trip for the Wolves as they try to end a losing streak in Houston which stretches all the way back to February of 2012.
In their last game on Sunday, Minnesota lost 120-107 to the Pelicans.

Malik Beasley continues to excel with his new team and led the way Sunday with 21 points and nine rebounds. D’Angelo Russell contributed 19 points, five assists and six rebounds.
James Johnson (15). Josh Okogie (12), Jake Layman (11) Naz Reid (10), and Jarrett Culver (10) were the other double-figure scorers.
Karl-Anthony Towns leads three team categories including scoring (26.5 points), rebounds (10.8) and field goal percentage (50.8%). is tops in assists (8.0) while James Johnson leads both hustle categories with 1.5 steals and 1.8 blocks.
Kelan Martin missed the game versus the Pelicans nursing an ankle sprain and won’t be ready to go Tuesday. The fracture to Karl-Anthony Towns wrist will keep him out of action until mid-March. Evan Turner (personal) is out indefinitely.
Houston Rockets
Initially, the commitment to small ball looked like a stroke of genius. Houston won six in a row but suddenly teams seem to have figured them out as they’ve lost four games in a row.
On Sunday it was the offensively challenged Orlando Magic who put up 126 points on them while holding Houston to 106 points. The Magic shockingly scored 71 points in the first half — this from a team who struggled for most of the season to break the century mark in 48 minutes.
And this wasn’t a one-off, as the Rockets also allowed the lottery-bound Hornets to start their match on a 20-0 run the game prior.
The problem is during this four-game losing streak the club is allowing 117.1 points by opponents ranking 24th in the Association. That’s an effort situation more than the system change.
The one player who is giving effort is Russell Westbrook who led the team with 24 points, four assists, and eight rebounds. It was the 33rd consecutive game Westbrook has scored 20 or more points and 44th time this season.
James Harden provided 23 points, six assists, and seven rebounds but it was on a highly inefficient 6 of 19 from the field and 3 of 10 from deep.
Jeff Green (18) and DeMarre Carroll (10) were the only other double-figure scorers.
On the season, James Harden is the team leader in scoring (34.3), assists (7.4), steals (1.7) and blocks (0.9). PJ Tucker tops the rebounding (6.8), while Russell Westbrook tops field goal percent (47.1%).
Eric Gordon missed the last two matches with right knee soreness while Ben McLemore is dealing with the flu. Both are questionable to play Tuesday.
NBA Betting Trends:

Free Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Houston Rockets NBA Prediction:
This is desperation time for the Rockets who’ve fallen to sixth by virtue of the four-game losing streak. They’ve feasted on Minny this season but this is a reformatted Wolves team playing without any stress or pressure.
