It’s the top and bottom rung ladder version of the Eastern Conference as the Milwaukee Bucks meet up with the Washington Wizards.
While the Wizards have been eliminated and have yet to win a ‘seeding’ game the Bucks haven’t exactly feasted in the bubble.

Through six bubble seeding games, the Bucks have two wins and four losses. The two victories came against high-end Eastern teams the Bucks could face in the later rounds.
Milwaukee had a chance to make it a clean sweep to add the Raptors alongside the Celtics and Heat but didn’t deliver.
The four losses came against the Rockets, Nets, Mavericks (in overtime) and Raptors
Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play versus the Raptors but they held out Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, and Serge Ibaka. Despite having no true point guard in the starting rotation or major game segments the Toronto offense still feasted.
Six Bucks scored in double figures with Kyle Korver (19) leading the way. He was joined by Khris Middleton (17), George Hill (14), Pat Connaughton (12), Brook Lopez (12), and Eric Bledsoe (11).
The loss did two things:
- proved how valuable and essential Giannis Antetokounmpo is to his club
- reinforced even the Raptors end of bench reserves believe they can beat the Bucks again
Washington Wizards
The hapless Wizards were the first squad to be eliminated from playoff contention and have yet to win a game. The teams with Washington on their hit list are Suns, Nets, Pacers, 76ers, Pelicans, and Thunder.
While the Wizards were missing Bradley Beal and Davis Bertans one can look across at the Brooklyn Nets to recognize heart and effort still win games.
In their last loss, Washington faced a severely undermanned Thunder club that didn’t have Sixth Man candidate Dennis Schroder (new baby), or either center as both Steven Adams (leg) and Nerlens Noel (ankle) were out.
Mike Muscala and rookie forward Darius Bazley became the plug and play centers with each excelling in the role. Bazley recorded a career-high 23 points.
As for the Wizards, Jerome Robinson led the way with 19 points while five others contributed double-figure scores including Isaac Bonga (14), Moritz Wagner (12), Troy Brown Jr. (12), Rui Hachimura (11), and Ish Smith (11).
