New York Knicks
There is not much to say about this Knicks team other than it is a train wreck. Year after year there are all these rumors that the Knicks will signed a superstar and yet they never do. While this team has been awful, they did put on an offensive clinic in their last outing. Granted, this game was against the Atlanta Hawks, but they managed to win 143-120.
Even with their best offensive performance by far, they still sit as the worst offensive team in the NBA, averaging just 102.7 points per game. This has a lot to do with their inability to shoot a high percentage from the field. They rank last in this category as well, averaging 42.9%. Their three-point shooting also ranks in the bottom third, as they average 34.8%.
The leading scorer for this team is Marcus Morris Sr. He is averaging 18.8 points per game. Other than him, the Knicks have Julius Randle, who averages 17.4. RJ Barrett, their notable rookie, is playing decently well, averaging 14.2, but he needs to do more for this Knicks team to grow.
The Knicks defense has overall been poor this season. They allow an average of 111.5 points per game. Teams shoot 46.5% against them and 38.9% from the three-point line.
The only chance for the Knicks is limiting the Milwaukee rebounding. They allow an average of 45.7 boards per game, which is 14th in the NBA so that is how they must approach this game.
