Monday, November 4th finds cross conference rivals the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves facing each other in their first meeting this year.
In their two games, last season the Bucks won both. The Suns hold the all-time record having bested the Wolves in 31 of their 58 matches.

Giannis Antetokounmpo said he woke up from his nap on the weekend with extra inspiration for the game Saturday night.
The opponent was the Toronto Raptors who the Bucks last played in the Eastern Conference Finals when they lost four games in a row and missed out on reaching the NBA Finals.

Although the Bucks jumped on the defending champs early and built a lead stretching to 25 points the gritty Raptors kept fighting back narrowing the gap to four points on several occasions.
Ultimately Minnesota needed an MVP effort from Antetokounmpo and he delivered. Minnesota needed all of his 36 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, steal, four blocks, and one triple to seal the win.
Milwaukee still has specific areas to tweak particularly the defense of the perimeter where they allow the second most 3-pointers and opponent defensive rebounding where they rank 28th.
The other key will be the necessity for the Bucks to finish games strong. They’ve led by double-digits in half their matches this season. Although they held on versus Toronto and the Rockets but it cost them on the other two occasions as they lost to the Heat and Celtics.
Wesley Matthews had to exit the match on Saturday after tweaking his ankle however the team expects him to suit up in Minnesota.
Minnesota Timberwolves
Having already served one game of his two-game suspension Karl-Anthony Towns will sit out once again versus the Bucks. Although the Timberwolves beat the Wizards without Towns, Minnesota is a much more difficult test.

Andrew Wiggins continued his strong early-season performance stepping up in the victory over the Wizards with 21 points, five rebounds, six assists and connected on four of his nine 3-point attempts.
Gorgui Dieng got the start with Towns out producing 18 points and eight rebounds. He’ll likely get the start again but will need help from Robert Covington and Noah Vonleh to deal with the great length of the Bucks.
Covington was big in the 131-109 victory versus the Wizards contributing 20 points while Jeff Teague delivered a double-double (15 points, 13 assists) and rookie Jarrett Culver pitched in with 20 points.
Like the Bucks, the Wolves need to clean up their perimeter defense since they allow opponents to shot the second highest 3-point efficiency.
