Free Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets NBA Prediction:
Sunday, March 1st finds the Milwaukee Bucks facing the Charlotte Hornets for the third time this season with Milwaukee winning both prior meetings.
Last season, the Bucks won three of the four meetings and hold the all-time record having bested the Hornets in 59 of their 114 matches
Milwaukee Bucks
Although the Bucks registered their largest win margin this season (47 points) it should be noted the Thunder were missing Danilo Gallinari and played the night prior rallying from a 19 point deficit.

Milwaukee is feasting on teams as the best regular season team but until the postseason arrives and they replicate the same prowess there will be criticism.
Case in point, James Harden sure wasn’t mixing words when he implied Giannis Antetokounmpo is tall and runs but has no skills. Side note: make sure to clear March 25th on your schedule when the Rockets play in Milwaukee.
Harden’s comment sounds like sour grapes. Especially since Giannis continues to improve across every category.
For example, not long ago Antetokounmpo took the Ben Simmons route of saying no thanks to shots outside the paint. This season he’s attempting 3-pointers and improving because of his willingness to be embarrassed by the occasional airball.
In the defeat of the Thunder, Antetokounmpo played a little over 27 minutes delivering a double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds. The trio of Wes Matthews, George Hill, and Pat Connaughton all scored 14 points while Robin Lopez chipped in with 12.
On the season Brook Lopez leads the team in blocks with 2.5 and Donte DiVincenzo for steals (1.4). Antetokounmpo leads the remaining four key categories including scoring with 29.7 points, 5.8 assists, 13.7 rebounds, and field goal percentage (55.3%).
Khris Middleton missed the game versus the Thunder with a stiff neck and is questionable for Sunday, Kyle Korver remains out indefinitely dealing with back spasms.
Charlotte Hornets
In what was a scrappy game north of the border the Hornets took advantage of a Raptors squad missing both Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka to attack the paint.
The Raptors were also without Fred VanVleet but Hornets coach James Borrego called the victory possibly the best this season.
Charlotte led by 13 but watched that lead evaporate and with the game tied and 2.3 seconds on the clock the refs bailed out Charlotte with a pre inbound foul call.
Regardless, the Hornets held on, got the ‘W’ and some added motivation that competing hard through 48 minutes is the task for the stretch schedule.
All the starters for the Hornets scored in double-figures with Terry Rozier and Devonte’ Graham both scoring 18 and Bismack Biyombo delivering a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Hornets team leaders feature Devonte’ Graham 17.6 points and 7..7 assists, Cody Zeller 7.1 rebounds and 51.7% field goal percentage, Terry Rozier 1.0 steals and PJ Washington 0.8 blocks.
Malik Monk (PED violation) is out.
NBA Betting Trends:
- Milwaukee is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games.
- Charlotte is 14-4 ATS in their last 18 vs. NBA Central.
- The home team is 9-1-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings.
Free Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets NBA Prediction:
Charlotte has won two in a row and five of their last seven but unlike the Raptors who were missing three core players the Bucks might only be missing Middleton plus their size and speed will be a problem for Charlotte. The 10.5 spread also seems low.
