Miami has lost four games in a row, falling to the Toronto Raptors last Friday 81-101. The Heat have been hit by a tremendous amount of injuries and need the win to stay above the .500 mark.
The Bulls on the other hand are coming off one of their strongest showings of the season, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road on Saturday by double digits.
Miami Heat:
The Miami Heat are currently experiencing their worst losing streak of the season and are haunted by injuries. They will still be without Luol Deng and Goran Dragic, while Hassan Whiteside is doubtful for tonight.
The Heat lost their last game against the Toronto Raptors and only had 2 players scoring in double digits. Dwyane Wade, who is probable for tonight’s game had 22 points while Chris Bosh totalled 26. The team shot just 40% from the field and a disappointing 23% from behind the arch.

This game marks the first game of a 3 game road trip against the better teams in the East. The Heat are currently sitting in the 8th spot in the East with the Washington Wizards just 1.5 games behind.
Miami is 8-12 on the road this season and trying to get the win at the United Center against a team that is massively motivated will be a hard task to complete.
Chicago Bulls:
The contrast between the Bulls and the Heat could not be any greater. The Bulls won against their rivals in the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers, by not playing great defense but also by playing great offense which had been lacking the last few games.
The Bulls had 5 players in double figures and shot over 40% from the field and from behind the three-point line. On top of that, they kept their turnovers down to an impressive 8.
Derrick Rose seems to inch closer and closer to his best form and that’s not a moment too soon. But the man of the night was Pau Gasol getting the double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
The Chicago Bulls are averaging 102 points on 43 percent shooting and are a lot better at home than on the road. It is reflected in their home record as they are 16-8 at home.
NBA Betting Trends:
- Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games
- Heat are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games playing on 2 days rest.
- Bulls are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest
- Bulls 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
- Head to head, the under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.
Free NBA Prediction:
Winning in Chicago is never easy and keeping in mind that half of the team of Miami is injured and the fact that Chicago will be riding high after the win against Cleveland, I can’t see Miami getting anything in this game.
Chicago will win this one quite easily but look for the under to hit.
