Free Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks NBA Prediction:
Thursday, February 20th, finds Southeast Division rivals the Miami Heat facing the Atlanta Hawks in the clubs’ fourth and final meeting this season. Miami has won all three contests to date including October 29th (112-97), October 31st (106-97) and December 10th (135-121).
Last season, the teams played four times with the Hawks taking three of four games. The Heat holds the all-time record having bested the Hawks in 69 of their 122 matches
Miami Heat
The Heat made significant moves at the trade deadline adding Andre Iguodala, Jae Crowder, and Solomon Hill. At least initially, the new players haven’t been able to help Miami’s road issues as the team is 1-4 on the current trip which finishes with this game in Atlanta.
Overall the Heat who feast at home (22-3) struggle on the road where they are 13-16.
The final game before the break was the 116-101 loss in Utah to the Jazz.

Jimmy Butler led the way in Utah with 25 points and eight rebounds. Duncan Robinson (18) Jae Crowder (15), Goran Dragic (13) and Kendrick Nunn (12) were the other double-figure contributors.
The two All-Stars on the Heat lead all team categories with Butler topping scoring (20.6), assists (6.1) and steals (1.8) and Bam Adebayo tops in rebounding (10.4) blocks (1.2) and field goal percent (57.9%).
Solomon Hill has yet to make his debut with the Heat since being acquired. Tyler Herro (foot) has missed the past five games and is doubtful for Thursday.
Meyers Leonard (ankle) hasn’t played on the road trip while Kyle Alexander has a hyperextended right knee and a PCL sprain. Both are out with no definitive return date.
Atlanta Hawks
The final game for the Hawks prior to the All-Star break was a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers who jumped on Atlanta from the tip and won every quarter.
Trae Young got primed for his first All-Star appearance with a double-double of 27 points and 12 assists.
John Collins (23), Cam Reddish (16), De’Andre Hunter (12) and Kevin Huerter (11) were the other double-figure contributors.
During the weekend in Chicago, Young was front and center featured on several TV programs and special segments.
As for the actual events, the sophomore played in the Rising Stars Game, participated in the 3-point challenge on Saturday and started the All-Star Game.
On the season the team leaders are Trae Young for points (29.7) and assists (9.2), DeAndre’ Bembry for steals (1.3), and John Collins for rebounds (10.2). Recently reacquired Dewayne Dedmon is tops in blocks (3.3) and Damian Jones tops field goal percentage (68.6%).
DeAndre’ Bembry has neuritis in his right hand and is questionable for this match.
Trade deadline additions Clint Capela (right heel contusion) is doubtful for Thursday while Skal Labissiere (left knee articular cartilage lesion) is expected out until the end of February.

Free Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks NBA Prediction:
The Heat have played the most Western Conference road games (14). Of the seeded teams in the East, they have one game left to play on the opposite coast while their peers have between four and eight to play.
Fortunately, their final 28 games feature only 12 road games but the Heat will still want to correct their issues away from home and will start in Atlanta.
