With Zion Williamson on the line, this may be the most important season to tank since the 2003 draft with LeBron James.
Of course, putting that kind of franchise-saving pressure on one kid is always unfair—especially when that one kid just went viral for busting through his shoe 33 seconds into a rivalry game and is now being pressure by media outlets and pundits everywhere to sit the rest of his freshman season to avoid injury and get ready for the draft.

Cleveland, on the other hand, has a struggling point guard in Collin Sexton and a veteran big who is just returning to action in Kevin Love. They also have the unfortunate reality that makes them compete with the likes of the Knicks, Hawks, and Bulls for best lottery odds.
Quite frankly: Cleveland needs this loss more than Memphis does.
