In that 20-game stretch, James played in 17 matches averaging 33.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 7.8 assists. Signs the fatigue was real were most evident in his 29.1% perimeter shooting on 6.5 attempts per game.

On the negative side, LA allows opponents to score an average of 118.0 points per game ranking 26th. Their opponents shoot 47.3% from the field (14th) and 34.8% from behind the arc (7th).
Another key point, the Lakers score 117.0 points per game (5th) while shooting 48.3 percent from the field and 33.7 percent from the perimeter ranking sixth and 26th respectively.
Anthony Davis (foot) is probable however LeBron James (ankle soreness) and Lonnie Walker IV (knee tendinitis are questionable for Saturday. Austin Reaves (hamstring) is out indefinitely.
Boston Celtics
After the way the Celtics have played the majority of the season we probably shouldn’t be sounding alarm bells or raising red flags especially since their current 3-game losing streak followed a nine-game winning streak.
It could just be the dog days of winter taking their toll on the club for playing at such a high degree for so many months but it’s worth keeping a close eye on.
Joe Mazzulla said after the last loss it’s about doing all those boring little things. He was pushing the concept that the game is simple but has all these little boring things you have to make automatic and when everyone commits to consistently doing them you win more than you lose.
