Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers haven’t lost in two weeks. They’ve ripped off seven in a row after defeating the Grizzlies by two in Memphis.

Kawhi Leonard didn’t dress against the Grizzlies (load management) but both Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams both scored 24 off the bench and Paul George had 22.
Leonard will be back for this game against his former team but Landry Shamet will not. He’s almost set to come back from his ankle injury but he’ll wait at least until returning to Los Angeles.
George and Leonard are averaging over 50 points so far and Lou Williams is up at 22.5; Harrell is at 19 but then there’s a drop-off. Landry Shamet, Ivica Zubac, JaMychal Green and Patrick Beverley are close.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs, meanwhile, have won just once in the last three weeks. They have gone 1–10 in that stretch of time.

The offense has the fifth-best field goal percentage in the NBA but that’s deceiving because it both attempts and makes the least three-pointers in the league.
Bryn Forbes is the best outside shooter on the team but at just 35 percent he hasn’t been great so far. Patty Mills is shooting it well. He’s over 44 percent on nearly five attempts per game.
So the offensive numbers can be a little misleading and the defensive numbers are just downright bad. Opponents are shooting 48 percent, which is a bottom-five figure.
But San Antonio is dead-last in forcing turnovers. Dejounte Murray hasn’t been the x-factor some thought he would before the season started. His perimeter D just hasn’t been able to make up for all the other liabilities on the floor.
