Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sure looks like he’s going to win back-to-back MVP awards given his performances in clutch time. In the last few weeks OKC has had their backs against the wall but each time SGA has stepped up to sew up the victory. That’ll count large when voters submit their ballots.
Inexplicably, the Lakers continue to win with Luka Doncic on an absolute tear over the past month. He served his one-game suspension and returned to the court fresh in the Lakers’ beatdown of the Cavaliers.
The question is just how good the Lakers are, and can they bring the same heat against the top team in the association?
In this match, it may come down to Luka versus SGA in terms of who will step up to push their team over the top.
Ultimately, I’m rolling with the home team to win, but I’ll take the points and the Lakers to make this a close call.
