Sunday, November 10 finds the Indiana Pacers meeting the Orlando Magic for the first time this 2019-20 season.
Last season, the squads played four times with the Magic winning three of the contests. The Pacers hold the all-time record having bested the Magic in 61 of their 110 matches.
Indiana Pacers
Three times was the charm for the Pacers who finally netted a victory over the Pistons in their third meeting versus Detroit this season. The Pacers who traveled overseas in the preseason got out to a terrible 0-3 start this season but have since regrouped and registered a 5-1 record since.

In the victory, the Pacers utilized balanced scoring with seven players producing double-digit scoring efforts. A trio of Pacers each scored 17 points including Domantas Sabonis, T.J. Warren, and T.J. McConnell.
Justin Holiday (16), Doug McDermott (14), Malcolm Brogdon (11) and JaKarr Sampson (10) were the other four double-digit producers.
Five Pacers are on the disabled list and won’t suit up for the match versus the Magic. They include Myles Turner who suffered a grade one ankle sprain against the Nets and hasn’t played since.
In addition, Goga Bitadze is in the concussion protocol program while Jeremy Lamb (sprained ankle) has missed the last two games.
Edmund Sumner broke his finger (third metacarpal) and is out indefinitely. Victor Oladipo continues to rehab from his ruptured quadriceps tendon with the team hopeful he’ll return in early December.
Orlando Magic
This Magic squad is arguably the best defensive team in the Association but their issues have all hinged on scoring and getting over the 100 point marker.

In their last two matches, they finally broke through scoring over 100 points and each although only one produced a win. That was their last game versus the Memphis Grizzlies where they combined both defense and offense in a 118-86 effort.
Five Orlando players scored in double digits in the offensive breakthrough versus the Grizzlies. Nikola Vucevic registered a team-high 23 points and added 16 rebounds to net the double-double.
Youngster Jonathan Isaac is coming into his own this season as a solid two-way player. He scored 22 points and added eight rebounds. Evan Fournier (19), Aaron Gordon (17), and D.J. Augustin (13) offered up double-digit scoring production as well.
Terrence Ross (right knee tendinitis) missed the last two games and is expected to miss the Pacers game. Melvin Fraizer Jr. (shoulder contusion/personal) missed the last three games and isn’t expected back for this match.

Free Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic NBA Prediction:
The Magic boast the third-ranked defense while the Pacers rank 12th. Orlando is so stingy they’ve held four opponents under 100 points in this early season. It will require the Pacers to display balanced scoring since the Magic have solid defenders at virtually every position on the court.
As for the offense while the Magic have finally cleared the 100 point barrier they did so versus two teams who aren’t known for their defense (Memphis and Dallas).
