Wednesday, December 4th, finds the Indiana Pacers meeting up versus the Oklahoma City Thunder for their second and final time this season. The Pacers won the first meeting 111-85 on November 12th.
Last season, the squads played twice splitting the games. The Thunder hold the all-time record having bested the Pacers in 51 of their 90 matches.
Indiana Pacers
After getting out to a slow 0-3 start this season the Pacers recovered and have since gone 13-4 despite dealing with copious injuries.

In their most recent game, the Pacers took down the Memphis Grizzlies 117-104. Seven different Pacers scored in double figures led by Malcolm Brogdon’s 19 points and nine assists.
Domantas Sabonis came close to recording a triple-double with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists. Myles Turner (17), Justin Holiday (15), Jeremy Lamb (15), TJ Warren (14) and Aaron Holiday (11) were the other players who reached double-digit scoring.
On the season Malcolm Brogdon is the team leader in scoring (19.4) and assists (8.0). Sabonis tops the ladder for rebounding (13.0) and field goal percent (51.4) while Myles Turner leads for blocks (2.3) and Warren is tops for steals (1.2).
JaKarr Sampson is out with lower back soreness with no timetable for return. Likewise, Edmond Sumner is out indefinitely due to a non-displaced fracture of the third metacarpal of his right hand.
Victor Oladipo continues his rehab for the ruptured quadriceps tendon in his knee with a projected return sometime this month.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder struggled to win games early this season despite being the team who pushed opponents to clutch time more than any other club.
This past week they flipped that script to win three of four games in clutch time including the most recent win versus the Pelicans – their second in a week.

Chris Paul took over in clutch time scoring seven of his 16 points. Danilo Gallinari led the team with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds and was joined by Steven Adams who recorded a 17 point, 11 rebound double-double of his own

Hamidou Diallo is out between four to six weeks with a right elbow hyperextension sprain with a return date of early January.
The team reported on Tuesday that Andre Roberson is now working away from the team rehabbing from his patellar tendon injury on his own in Los Angeles making his absence all the more curious.

Free Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA Prediction:
The game features two of the better defensive squads who rely primarily on team ball as opposed to superstar play. Notably, the Thunder may regret their decision to send Sabonis and Oladipo to Indy in the trade for Paul George considering the events of the summer.
In their last meeting, the Pacers appeared to be the far superior team and not much has changed since that time the only difference is this game will be played in OKC.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Pacers plus points
If the Thunder can get this game into clutch time their newfound confidence may make a difference but the Pacers are likely to jump on the Thunder early which is a weakness for OKC who struggle in the first and third quarters putting points on the board.
