Free Indiana Pacers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Prediction:
Saturday, February 29th, Central Division foes the Indiana Pacers face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the clubs’ third meeting of the 2019-20 season with each team winning once. Cleveland won on October 26th (110-99) while the Pacers won on November 1st (102-95).
Last season, the teams played four times with Indiana taking three of the four contests. The Pacers hold the all-time record having bested the Cavaliers in 101 of their 195 matches
Indiana Pacers
The initial stages of working Victor Oladipo back into the rotation didn’t exactly go smoothly. The Pacers struggled in his first seven games going 1-6 with Dipo missing one of those games.
It didn’t help they had to face the reigning champion Toronto Raptors in a home and home series.

In the last five games, however, the team seemed to find it’s chemistry going 4-1, granted another game versus the Raptors was a rout with the Pacers losing by 46 points.
Ironically, that seemed to serve as the wake-up the starting lineup needed to play more aggressively. Indy is also capitalizing on the lower tier teams although there was a win versus the Bucks (without Antetokounmpo) in that group of four wins.
In their last game, the Pacers defeated the undermanned Portland Trail Blazers It was Oladipo’s best performance since returning with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Both big men delivered double-doubles with Domantas Sabonis posting 20 points and 11 rebounds while Myles Turner served up 14 points and 10 rebounds
Malcolm Brogdon (17), TJ Warren (15) and Justin Holiday (11) were the other double-figure contributors.
On the season the team leaders are TJ Warren for points (18.4) and steals (1.2), Domantas Sabonis for rebounds (12.5) and field goal percentage (54.0 %), Malcolm Brogdon for assists (7.2) and Myles Turner for blocks (2.0).
Edmond Sumner (hip) is questionable for Saturday.
Jeremy Lamb is lost for the season after an awkward fall injured his left leg including tearing both his ACL and meniscus while also causing a fracture (lateral femoral condylar).
Cleveland Cavaliers
New Head Coach J.B. Bickerstaff has elected to play the anti-Rockets small ball and go BIG. In recent outings, he’s played a trio of bigs forcing his opponents to react and with so many bigs on the Cavaliers JB has plenty of options.
Each of Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, Andre Drummond, Larry Nance, and Ante Zizac are all getting plenty of playing time. This choice is paying dividends as the larger team is winning collecting four W’s in their last six matches.
The wins aren’t arbitrary either as the Cavs have topped both the Heat and 76ers utilizing this strategy although it failed in the Friday match as they fell to the Pelicans.
Collin Sexton led the scoring with 31 points while Kevin Porter Jr. (16), Darius Garland (15), Tristan Thompson (13) and Kevin Love (10) were the other double-figure scorers.
Team leaders are Collin Sexton for scoring (20.1) and steals (1.0), Darius Garland for assists (3.9) and Tristan Thompson leads three stat categories including rebounds (10.2), field goal percentage (51.5%) and blocks (0.9).
Andre Drummond (calf) is questionable while Dante Exum (ankle), Alfonzo McKinnnie (foot), and Dylan Windler (shin) are all out.
