Monday, November 18 the Indiana Pacers will be on the road taking the court against the Nets in Brooklyn. This is the second meeting between the teams this season with the Pacers having won the first contest.
Last season, the squads played three times with the Pacers winning two of the three contests. The Pacers hold the all-time record having bested the Nets in 107 of their 180 matches.
Indiana Pacers
The last time these two teams met the Indiana Pacers were 0-3 on the season and scrambling to rediscover their two way ability that landed them the fifth seed last season.

The win over Brooklyn kick started a segment where the Nets went on to win seven of their next eight games and rediscovered their winning prowess. Since then the Pacers have lost two in a row to top tier teams (Rockets and Bucks).
Indy returns to Brooklyn looking for a win to catapult them into another winning streak.
Since joining the Pacers Malcolm Brogdon has taken a step up the ladder and is leading the team in scoring (19.7 points) and assists (8.2). Domantas Sabonis leads the team in rebounding (13.4) and in field goal percentage (49.4%).
In the last game versus the Bucks, Malcolm Brogdon sat nursing a sore lower back and the Pacers paid the price.
Sabonis delivered a double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds while Myles Turner returned after an eight-game absence to also post a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds. TJ Warren scored 15 points and Aaron Holiday chipped in with 11 points.
Brogdon is questionable for Monday as is TJ McConnell who also missed the game versus the Bucks with a groin injury. Jeremy Lamb is out with a sprained left ankle and his return date is uncertain.
Edmond Sumner is also out indefinitely with a non-displaced fracture of the third metacarpal of his right hand.
While the Pacers are dealing with the backcourt injuries the good news is Victor Oladipo is scheduled to return sometime early in December after rehabbing from his ruptured quadriceps tendon.
Brooklyn Nets
Kyrie Irving leads his squad in scoring (28.5), assists (7.2) and steals (1.1) however his team isn’t doing much winning with him on the hardwood.

Entering the match on Saturday against the Bulls, the Nets were on a three-game losing streak which they snapped but without Irving in the lineup.
It will be interesting to see if this sparks similar conversations about Irving being overly ball-dominant since the Nets looked more like the squad from last season in the win.
All five starters produced double-figure scoring efforts with Spencer Dinwiddie leading the way (24 points). Joe Harris (22), Taurean Prince (13), Garrett Temple (12), Jarrett Allen (11) and Theo Pinson (10) all contributed.
Irving (shoulder) remains questionable for Monday, Caris LeVert is out until late December after surgery to repair ligament damage in his right thumb.
Wilson Chandler continues to serve his 25-game suspension though he’ll be back mid-December and Kevin Durant is out for the season rehabbing his ruptured Achilles tendon.
NBA Betting Trends:
- The Pacers are 9-1 ATS in their last 10
- The Pacers are 8-2 in last 10 head to head
- Over Under is 6-4 in team’s last 10 head to head matchups
