Houston is more than James Harden, though it is difficult to see that at times. They are a threat in this one.

Denver is still right there with the Warriors in terms of record, just people stopped talking about them. Slowing down the Rockets would increase the pub. .

James Harder got his in their last game but they lost at home to New Orleans. Win or lose Harden always gets his lately.

Chris Paul is back and that is important but it does not mask that the team is still missing a key piece in Clint Capela. He is not back to his usual minutes load and has looked just OK.

Austin Rivers was filling in a nice role for the Rockets while Paul was out but he has not been looking great since his return. I think he struggles with confidence pretty quickly so a demotion is not good for his ego.

Inside Kenneth Faried has been amazing. They picked him up on the scrap heap and he is basically averaging 15 and 10 with no complaints. Some guys just fit I guess.

Houston as an underdog is very intriguing. You know Harden can go off and drag his team to victory any night, even if on road against a good team like Denver.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are in good form right now, they have won four in a row, including three straight without Jamal Murray. This team has enough depth for that kind of thing to not thrown them too much.

Nikoal Jokic conitnues to deliver big time. He had a triple double in his last game which is hardly a new thing for him. He is leading the team in scoring, rebounding and assists. Averaging a triple double would be awesome but it might be too late to get there.

Murray not being around gives more time to Monte Morris and he has played really well. Malik Beasley is also taking advantage and making some shots. Per above the depth is there.
