Usman Garuba (wrist) is out indefinitely. John Wall remains on the shelf as the Rockets failed to find a trade partner and are in a stalemate regarding a buy-out given his massive salary.
Dallas Mavericks
The Mavericks endured bad weather outside and inside the arena on Monday but battled through it all to notch a much needed victory versus the team that have moved directly behind them in the standings (Wolves).
With the win they added a bit of distance to ensure they retain their hold on a home court seat.
Luka Doncic delivered a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists with six rebounds but got tons of help from many of his teammates. Dwight Powell had a perfect night of shooting hitting all eight of his shots for 22 points.
Spencer Dinwiddie provided 20 points and eight rebounds while Reggie Bullock scored 18. The other double-figure scorers were Dorian Finney-Smith and Jalen Brunson each scoring14.
Luka Doncic (ankle) and Davis Bertans (knee) were downgraded to out Wednesday versus the Rockets. Theo Pinson (finger) and Tim Hardaway Jr.(foot) are out indefinitely.
