Golden State probably doesn’t need it but every win will influence whether they finish in the top spot in the Western Conference or not. This is a road win they should get.
Minnesota is having another lost season. Perhaps they show some extra life for their fans as the Warriors generally draw good crowds on the road. Maybe there is some energy in the building.

The Warriors are coming off back to back wins as they try and ramp up for the playoffs. They are still heavy favourites to repeat as champs.

Though less material than before Demarcus Cousins was back from injury they are getting Jordan Bell back for this one. He was suspended by the team for a game. That is never good but they are going to be just fine.
Speaking of Cousins he seems to be fitting in just nicely. His numbers look down but he is not playing a ton of minutes and I think his usage will go up in the playoffs because as good as this team is overall he often has a mismatch.

Andre Iguadala and Shaun Livingston have been important role players for the Warriors in the past but they are not producing much. It is hard to know what is at the root of that.
These are all “first world” problems for a team that could easily rip through this game and the playoffs which are coming up shortly.
Minnesota Timberwolves
Minnesota has lost six of seven heading into this one. There is no likely surge to close the season, one which started with anticipation but quickly led to disappointment. They fired the coach, trades, injuries etc.
In terms of injuries they are still suffering at the PG spot where Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are out. They are giving a lot of time to Tyus Jones as a result but his brother, a frosh at Duke, looks like the better player.

Since Minnesota has a couple of relaly good players in Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins they are still a threat some nights but those guys would be better with a strong PG on the floor.
