Friday, November 29 finds the Golden State Warriors facing the Miami Heat in their first meeting this season.
Last season, the squads played twice and split the games. The Warriors holds the all-time record having bested the Heat in 32 of their 61 matches

In the 104-90 victory over the Bulls, the Warriors came away with a win while Steve Kerr exited with the scars to show for it. This isn’t the first time Kerr has made a point by breaking a clipboard but this time he was bleeding from it cutting his hand.

Kerr was frustrated by the Dubs playing lackadaisically on defense but his actions proved successful as the team buckled down to capture the 104-90 victory.
Eric Paschall led the way with 25 points while Alec Burks pitched in with 23. The trio of Omari Spellman (13), Marquese Chriss (11) and Glenn Robinson III (11) were the other double-figure scorers.
The Warriors injury list is extensive with Kevon Looney (neuropathy) out Friday but a trio of players are expected back in early December including D’Angelo Russell (thumb), Damion Lee (hand) and Jacob Evans (hand).
Steph Curry is expected out until mid-February while Klay Thompson is out for the season.
Miami Heat
Miami is one of four teams that are unbeaten at home (Boston, Philly, Toronto). This combined with how the Heat started the season made them appear like a squad who could contend as the best in the East.
Then they hit the road and faced some of the upper echelon teams and not only lost but lost badly to the Nuggets and 76ers. Regardless, they are still a team that will vie for a top seed and is one trade away from taking the top spot.

Opponents are no longer sleeping on rookies Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn, or sophomore Duncan Robinson. Meanwhile, Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler are serving as the perfect one-two punch for Eric Spoelstra.
Adebayo is beasting defensively and averaging a double-double this season of 14.5 points and 10.4 rebounds. Butler meanwhile is averaging 18.9 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game.
In the loss to Houston, Adebayo produced a double-double of 17 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Herro (22), Kelly Olynyk (19), Goran Dragic (13) Robinson (13), and Justise Winslow (10) were the other double-figure contributors.
Butler was out with an illness and is questionable for Friday. Dion Waiters suspension ended this week but he hasn’t been played yet. KZ Okpala (Achilles strain) and Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) are out indefinitely.
