Natural letdown spot for the Warriors who are coming off a critical win over Denver at home in their last game that might have sealed up the West.
Still the Lakers are so depleted right now that it is hard to know if they could pull an upset off even if GS tried to give it to them.
Golden State Warriors
The Warriors took care of business and likely clinched the West in beating Denver on Tuesday. They won by 12 but that game was not really even that close.

It was a rare game where Demarcus Cousins took the scoring lead with 28 points. He was really strong against Jokic with 13 board and a couple of steals and a couple of blocks. He actually took the most shots.
Draymond Green was his usual versatile self with 6, 9, & 9. I know he does not really look to score but I think they are going to need him to do a little more of that in the playoffs.

The defense was really good against Denver as they held them to under 40% shooting for the game. They did turn the ball over too much though.
Per the intro you can see how this group might have a letdown here. Maybe not to the point of losing but not a sharp game.
Los Angeles Lakers
After a couple of wins the Lakers were put back in their place against OKC. Given that data point you have to think the same thing is going to happen when they take on the champs.
There is not going to be any LeBron for the rest of the season. The same goes for Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram. More recently Kyle Kuzma finds himself on the injured list – questionable. Not sure who is going to score for these guys.

This went from being a young team to now a veteran team. Based on track records you want to think they are capable but there is a reason these guys are not in other winning situations. Just hard to know what to expect from game to game.
