Golden State Warriors
The Warriors beat the Rockets on Wednesday night in Oakland in another game decided by six or fewer points, 104–99. Golden State got seventy-four points from Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson but Durant didn’t finish the game after leaving in the third quarter with a calf injury.
He was seen limping after the game and the outlook doesn’t look good for the Warriors, who only have one day off between Games 5 and 6. Durant said the team would “know more tomorrow” about his injury. So stay tuned.

Of course, Game 6 won’t be a must-win after Curry shook off a cold shooting night to hit some big shots down the stretch. Thompson had his best game of the series but did most of his damage early in the first quarter.

The Rockets got thirty-one from James Harden but became the first side to finish under 100 in any game of the series. Game 1 finished under, as did Game 5, following three consecutive overs.
Houston Rockets
The lack of scoring from Chris Paul has hurt the Rockets a bit here. He had just eleven in Game 5 and his backup, Austin Rivers, just a deuce.
Eric Gordon had another good game with nineteen but Houston needs just a bit more scoring from the guards. If Durant is out and Golden State’s defense is stretched just a tad more than usual, it could happen in Game 6.

PJ Tucker’s job would also became far easier. He’s done a respectable job on Durant, who has still scored in bunches, but he’ll either get a chance to play a slowed KD or shift onto someone else entirely. He could spend some time on Draymond Green or even one of the Splash Brothers. He’ll also unleash the extra energy even more ferociously on the boards.

Free Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets NBA Prediction: Houston sends it to seven.
Golden State is in a tough spot with the injury. Durant is going to want to play but what do the Warriors do? They could, theoretically, get him some extra rest and prepare or Game 7 back at home. But then what do we expect from KD?
If they play him in this game, he better be fine because the Rockets could very well win anyway. If that were to happen and Durant doesn’t get in the best shape possible for Game 7, it could all end here for the Dubs.
4* Free NBA Playoff Betting Pick: Rockets ATS
I like this to be the first game decided by more than six in a resounding Houston win to send it back to Oracle.
