Tuesday, November 12 the Detroit Pistons will complete the second game of their back-to-back set on the road to the Miami Heat.
Last season, the squads played four times and split the games each winning two contests. The Heat holds the all-time record having bested the Pistons in 59 of their 113 matches

The big news out of Detroit is Blake Griffin is expected to make his return which as of this writing would be for the Monday night game when they host the Timberwolves.
It’s unknown, but unlikely Griffin will play in a back-to-back, however, if the does suit up it will come with a minute restriction.

Prior to Monday, the Pistons lost a match to the Pacers on Friday. Luke Kennard (29) Andre Drummond (15), Langston Galloway (19), Markieff Morris (13), Tony Snell (11) and Bruce Brown (10) all produced double-digit scoring contributions in the loss to Indiana.
Griffin isn’t the only player expected back Monday he should be joined by Bruce Brown (knee). Likewise, Tim Frazier (shoulder) who missed the last four games was listed as probable to return versus the Wolves.
Derrick Rose’s who is dealing with a sore hamstring is still listed as questionable. Reggie Jackson will be out until early December due to a stress reaction in his lower back. Khyri Thomas (foot) is out indefinitely.
Miami Heat
Week two the Heat compiled a 3-0 record but this past week wasn’t as successful with Miami losing two of three contests. The most recent loss to the Lakers found Miami scoring their lowest point total (80) in a game this season.

Jimmy Butler led the way scoring 22 points with three assists and six rebounds. Goran Dragic produced a quality line of 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Bam Adebayo chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds while Kendrick Nunn scored 10 points.
If the Pistons are the walking wounded then the Miami Heat are limping right beside them. Seven players are either out or questionable for the match on Tuesday.
The two question marks are Kelly Olynyk who has a sore right knee and rookie Tyler Herro who has an ankle injury.
Derrick Jones Jr. (hip) missed the Heats last outing, Justise Winslow is in the concussion protocol program having missed two games, and KZ Okpala has missed five games with a left Achilles strain.
In the ongoing Dion Waiters saga with the Heat, he’s been suspended 10 games for conduct detrimental to the team. This time his expulsion was for consuming a THC laced gummie which caused him to have a seizure on the plane ride West.
Udonis Haslem is out indefinitely with the combination of a wrist sprain and stomach virus.
