The Lakers won Game 1 to take an early series lead over the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals. Game 2 is set for Sunday.

Los Angeles Lakers
Unlike the first two series, the Lakers won the opening match to take the lead in this Western Conference Finals. The Lakers separated from the Nuggets in the middle frames of the match outscoring Denver 67-41.
Anthony Davis led the way with a massive double-double of 37 points and 10 rebounds while LeBron James also notched a double-double of 15 points and 12 assists.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (18), Dwight Howard (13), and Kyle Kuzma (13) were the other double-figure contributors.
Rajon Rondo continues to be an x-factor while veteran big man Howard chose to play the role of bully to get under the skin of Jokic.
While both James (groin) and Rondo (back spasms) are dealing with minor injuries both are expected to play Saturday.Dion Waiters (groin) remains out for Saturday.
