The conference semi-finals between the fifth-seeded Dallas Mavericks and West’s top-seeded OKC Thunder continues on Thursday. OKC overcame a deficit to knot the series at two all with a gutsy 100-96 victory on Monday in Texas.
Season Series
The Thunder own the all-time advantage of winning 90 out of the 174 prior meetings. Last season the teams played three times with the Thunder taking two of the three contests while this year OKC won three of the four contests.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander left no questions why he was second in the MVP voting as he put the Thunder on his back to lead the comeback and scored or assisted on 20 of the final 30 points OKC scored.
Josh Giddey remained in the starting rotation but once again logged limited minutes (12) as rookie Cason Wallace has become a much greater factor given his defensive prowess.

In the regular season the Thunder ranked third on offense (118.3), and fourth on defense (111.0) while they offered a plus +7.3 net differential registering second overall.
To this point in the playoffs, OKC ranks ninth offensively (110.4) and second defensively (100.8) with a plus +9.6 net differential ranking second overall.
