Ball distribution was the other big advantage for the Cavs, who utilized ball and player movement to keep the 76ers off guard. They dished 41 dimes, often leading to a perimeter shot.
Although Embiid is missing time the only true concern for Philly is keeping him healthy for the playoffs. He started the season looking out of shape but since mid December is averaging 28.2 points and 8.4 rebounds.
Typically, baseball sets end up with splits because the team that loses on the front side makes adjustments to win the back side of the set. Given all four Sixers stars are expected to play, that could be what happens on Friday.
That said, I’m rolling with the Cavs playing desperate so that they can get the sweep.
