Free Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami Heat NBA Prediction:
Saturday, February 22nd, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat meet for the third time this season. The Heat won both prior contests on November 14th (108-97) and November 20th (124-100) and have won the last seven contests versus Cleveland.
Last season, the teams played four times with the Heat sweeping the series. The Heat holds the all-time record having bested the Cavaliers in 69 of their 114 matches.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Head Coach John Beilein has stepped down and assistant J.B. Bickerstaff has assumed the role.

This franchise is far from having a strong culture or identity given the fact Bickerstaff is the seventh coach in eight seasons and Ty Lue held the post for three and a half of those eight seasons.
The Cavaliers hold the worst record in the East and second worst in the association so at least they’ll have a shot at landing the top draft pick this season.
Returning from the break the Cavs first game was against the Wizards on Friday a match they lost 108-113. And, the schedule Gods aren’t doing them any favors as now they play the second game of a back-to-back set facing a team who is 22-3 on their home court.
In the loss three players recorded double-doubles including Cedi Osman (16 points, 10 rebounds), Andre Drummond (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Tristan Thompson (10 points, 11 rebounds).
Collin Sexton led team scoring with 25 points while Darius Garland (15), Larry Nance Jr. (13), Dante Exum (10) each chipped in double-figure scoring.
Alfonzo McKinnie missed the Wizards match dealing with plantar fascitis and Ante Zizac was out with an illness. Both are questionable for Saturday.
Dylan Windler (shin) is out for the season.
Miami Heat
Since adding Jae Crowder, Andre Iguodala, and Solomon Hill at the trade deadline the Heat are 1-4. Granted all five of those games occurred on the road where the Heat struggle. The win versus the Warriors was the lone victory in their six-game road trip.
Miami is no doubt thrilled they play six of their next seven games.
The final game of the road trip was a post All-Star break match in Atlanta that witnessed Trae Young score a career-high 50 points.
Miami wasted an amazing double-double effort of 28 points, 19 rebounds along with seven assists from Bam Adebayo.
Jimmy Butler delivered 19 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds. Goran Dragic (19), Jae Crowder (14), Kendrick Nunn (14) and Duncan Robinson (10) were the other double-figure contributors.
The two All-Stars on the Heat lead all team categories with Butler topping scoring (20.6), assists (6.2) and steals (1.8) and Bam Adebayo tops in rebounding (10.6) blocks (1.2) and field goal percent (57.5%).
Solomon Hill made his debut with the Heat versus the Hawks producing three points and three rebounds in 14 minutes. since being acquired.
Derrick Jones Jr had to leave the Hawks game with a shin contusion and is questionable for Saturday.
Tyler Herro (foot), Meyers Leonard (ankle), and Kyle Alexander (hyperextended right knee and a PCL sprain) are all out with no definitive return date.
NBA Betting Trends:
- The Heat are 8-2 in last 10 head to head
- The Heat are 7-3 ATS in their last 10
- Over Under is 5-5 in team’s last 10 head to head matchup
Free Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Miami Heat NBA Prediction:
While the Heat will need to avoid the trap game they are home and have the rest advantage which should equate to an easy win but Cavaliers are feisty and should cover the spread.
