The Bulls right now are sitting with the 4th worst record in the NBA which is great for their draft lottery odds. Normally Chicago wouldn’t admit they’re tanking games down the stretch, but basically the team doesn’t have a choice but to lose right now.
Chicago is working with a skeleton crew Lauri Markkanen, Zach Lavine, and Otto Porter are all out indefinitely if not for the rest of the season. Kris Dunn is also questionable vs. the Wizards with a back injury.
As it stands, the Bulls projected starting lineup for Wednesday is Wayne Selden, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Robin Lopez, Shaq Harrison, and Walt Lemon, Jr. There’s a reason a downtrodden Wizards team is a -11 favorite in this one.

Chicago has now dropped 5 in a row. The Bulls have had some stinkers over that span too with a 31 point loss to Utah, and 20+ home defeats to Portland and Toronto. Chicago dropped a 113-105 contest to the lowly Knicks on Monday as well with New York at one time holding a 28 point lead.

Washington Wizards
Former Bulls players Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker would love nothing more than to humiliate their former team one more time on the season. Parker had a 28 point night when the teams last met up and Portis added a 15/5 outing.
The Wizards are just 3-7 over their last 10 but they’ve actually won 2 of 3 coming into Wednesday’s tilt. A 124-121 win at Phoenix was expected as Washington was a -1 favorite but Sunday’s 95-90 win in Denver as +10 underdogs shows the Wiz aren’t shutting it down for the season just yet.

Besides Portis and Parker, the Wizards roster just looks head and shoulders above of what Chicago is throwing out there right now. Bradley Beal just went for 34 in Utah on Friday, Troy Brown, Jr. led the way Sunday vs. Denver, and Tomas Satoransky is the veteran ball handler that keeps it all together.
