Free Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction:
Sunday, February 2nd finds the Chicago Bulls facing the Toronto Raptors for the third time this season. Toronto won both earlier matches 108-84 on October 26th and 93-92 on December 9th.
Last season, Toronto swept the four-game season series and hold an 11 game consecutive winning streak versus Chicago. The Bulls hold the all-time record having bested the Raptors in 48 of their 91 matches
Chicago Bulls
The Bulls can empathize with the Raptors’ early injury troubles as they’ve hit a stretch where several players in the frontcourt are out.

They added a backcourt member to that list on Friday when Kris Dunn took a shot to his knee courtesy of his own teammate (Thaddeus Young) who fell into the guard’s knee. He was scheduled for an MRI on Saturday but no additional news has been released.
Chicago lost on Friday as Kyrie Irving and his Nets lit up the Bulls for 35 points and 38 points in the first and second quarters respectively with Irving going off for 54 in the game.
Zach LaVine led the way with 22 points, eight assists, and two rebounds.
Luke Kornet (19), Tomas Satoransky (15), Thaddeus Young (14), Shaquille Harrison (12) and Coby White (11) all collected double-figure scores.
On the season the Bulls leaders are LaVine for scoring (25.1), Tomas Satoransky tops assists (5.3) and Kris Dunn for steals ( 2.0). Wendell Carter Jr. tops rebounding (9.9), field goal percent (53.7%) and blocks (0.9) categories.
The list of injured players for the Bulls is lengthy although four of the nine are probable for Sunday including Ryan Arcidiacono (elbow), Chandler Hutchison (shoulder), Tomas Satoransky (ankle), Denzel Valentine (hip).
Kris Dunn (knee), Lauri Markkanen (pelvis) Daniel Gafford (thumb), Wendell Carter Jr. (ankle), Otto Porter Jr. (foot) are all out Sunday with various return dates in February or early March and Max Strus (torn ACL) is out for the season.
Toronto Raptors
Other than a brief offensive malaise in the third quarter, the Raptors who were playing on a back to back made easy work of the Pistons in their 105-92 victory.
In an oddity, the Pistons took 34 free throws and scored 28 in the paint compared to the Raptors 66 points in the paint and measly 11 free throws.
With the victory, Nick Nurse and his coaching staff cemented their appearance at the All-Star Game where his group will handle the sidelines for Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team. They join starter Pascal Siakam and reserve Kyle Lowry.
In the win over the Pistons, Siakam led the way with 30 points and seven rebounds. Serge Ibaka delivered 21 points while Fred VanVleet served up a complete game effort via 16 points, nine assists, eight rebounds.
Norman Powell collected 12 points including four jaw-dropping dunks but broke his finger in the process.
Team leaders feature Pascal Siakam (23.8 points), Kyle Lowry (7.3 assists) and Fred VanVleet (2.0 steals). OG Anunoby (5.4 rebounds), Chris Boucher (0.9 blocks) and Serge Ibaka for field goal percentage (51.7%).
Norman Powell fractured his fourth metacarpal finger in Detroit and is out indefinitely. Marc Gasol (hamstring), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) and Dewan Hernandez (ankle) are all out Sunday.
