Free Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction:
Saturday, February 8th the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors meet for the third time this season. In the previous two matches the Raptors won both.
Last season, Toronto won three of the four games between the clubs. The Raptors hold the all-time record having bested the Nets in 55 of their 95 matches
Brooklyn Nets
In the last game out the Brooklyn Nets delivered a thumping on the Golden State Warriors with a winning tally of 129-88. A balanced scoring attack netting the win with Caris LeVert leading his team in scoring producing 23 points.

Joe Harris (17), Garrett Temple (16), Rodions Kurucs (12), Taurean Prince (12) and DeAndre Jordan (10) were the other double-figure scorers.
Team leaders are Dinwiddie in scoring (21.0) and assists (6.4), Prince for steals (1.0) and Jarrett Allen tops three categories including rebounds (9.7) field goal percentage (64.5%) and blocks (1.5).
Nicolas Caxton missed the game versus the Warriors due to a sore left shoulder, but it is expected play Saturday versus the Raptors.
Kyrie Irving suffered a sprained medial ligament in his right knee which the team is saying will keep him out until after the All-Star Break.
Kevin Durant remains out rehabbing for his ruptured Achilles and is expected to miss the entirety of the season.
Toronto Raptors
Another game and more injuries for the Toronto Raptors, however, this time it was their own players hurting each other. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson swiped Pascal Siakam’s face scratching his eye but he remained despite sporting a bright red eye.
Kyle Lowry suffered whiplash on a fall hitting Serge Ibaka’s hip and had to leave the game late in the third although he produced a double-double of 16 points and 11 assists. Toronto ranks in the top five for teams with man games lost due to injury.
In spite of that fact, the Raptors continue to set franchise records. They won the home-home series to set the most consecutive wins both overall and on the road (12, now 13 and 10 on the road).
Undrafted rookie Terence Davis continues to surprise and with the injuries is getting more playing time. He was critical with Lowry out delivering 17 points, 11 coming in the late third and fourth quarter.
Serge Ibaka produced a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Fred VanVleet (20), Pascal Siakam (17), and OG Anunoby (16) who also had five steals were the other double-figure scorers.
Team leaders feature Siakam (23.5 points), Lowry (7.4 assists), VanVleet (2.0 steals). OG Anunoby (5.3 rebounds), Boucher (0.9 blocks) and Ibaka for field goal percentage (52.3%).
Malcolm Miller (neck) missed the last five games and Marc Gasol (hamstring) are questionable for Saturday. Lowry is likely out. Norman Powell (fractured finger) is out indefinitely.
NBA Betting Trends:
- The Raptors are 9-1 ATS in their last 10
- The Raptors are 6-4 in last 10 head to head
- Over Under is 5-5 in team’s last 10 head to head matchups
Free Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction:
January 15th is the last time the Raptors lost and the only loss they have at home against their division was the Christmas day match to the Celtics when they were playing their third game in four days with a start time of noon.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Raptors -7.5
This feels like win number 14. Notably, the longest win streak in the NBA is 18 by the Bucks. If the Raptors win their next five games (Nets, Wolves, @Nets, Suns, Pacers) ironically Milwaukee is the team they’ll face to get that 19th victory.
