On the other hand, they just played the Bucks and got pummeled so getting routed again against the other elite East club isn’t ideal especially since it could bolster the Celts’ confidence.

Similar to how I noticed the impending stumble of the Celtics and Nuggets (who’ve both recovered since) I’m getting the same vibe from the Sixers. Granted, they’ve had a hellish schedule and could just be mentally fatigued wanting to finish the regular season and get on with things.
It’s not usual for sweeps between two elite clubs but Boston is just a brutal matchup for Philly and won’t want to give them a hint of weakness they can utilize to motivate and develop confidence for the second round.
