Boston has won just once since the All-Star break. They are capable of beating good teams like Golden State but betting them to do so is hard right now.

It is looking like another lost season for Gordon Hayward. He has had his moments but has nor scored more than 9 points in any game since the break. Having him come off the bench takes the pressure off but playing limited minutes does not help.

I have always been a fan of Marcus Smart. He gives you great defense, pretty good decision making and he is tough. His shooting is much improve too.

Kyrie Irving is one of the best closers in the game, still. But the team has to have the game in reach for that to be a factor. They outscored Houston by 11 in the 4th and still lost by 11. That is bad math.

Golden State Warriors

It seems like motivation ebbs and flows for this talented team. They are coming off a win at Philly and you can bet they were amped up to knock them down a peg. Klay Thompson did not play and he might miss this one too.

In the win Demarcus Cousins scored a season high 25 points in less than 30 minutes. He has been efficient for the Warriors and it certainly helped that Joel Embiid did not play for Philadelphia. He has advantages inside most nights.

It seems like Draymond Green has forgotten about his offense this season. He is still able to stuff the stat sheet and actually leads the team in assists but you have to wonder if in the playoffs that could be an issue. In the past three games he has shot 2-4 in each. .
