For Young who was Gianna (Gigi) Bryant’s favorite player, the loss carried extra weight. Fittingly, Young had a massive game delivering 45 points and 14 assists. It earmarked the first time a player registered a 45 point double-double in under 25 shots against the Wizards since Bryant (2006).

Toronto Raptors
The Raptors and Spurs initiated the Kobe Bryant homage Sunday by each using their first possession to run out the 24-second shot clock with other teams following suit.

His efforts spearheaded the Raptors 37 point first frame and a 16 point lead en route to their 110-106 victory. It was the first win in San Antonio by the Raptors in 10 seasons.
It also marked the Raptors seventh win in a row as well as their seventh consecutive road win.
Serge Ibaka delivered a 12 point, 10 rebound double-double. Kyle Lowry (16), Fred VanVleet (13), and OG Anunoby (10) all pitched in double-figure scores while Marc Gasol grabbed 12 rebounds.
Team leaders feature Pascal Siakam (23.8 points), Kyle Lowry (7.3 assists) and Fred VanVleet (2.0 steals). OG Anunoby leads rebounding (5.5) and blocks (0.7), Norman Powell tops field goal percentage (50.8%) while Chris Boucher leads blocks (0.9).
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson suffered a sprained ankle versus the Spurs and Patrick McCaw missed his second game due to a broken nose with both questionable for Tuesday.
Dewan Hernandez (ankle) remains out indefinitely.
