Monday, December 10 serves up the third meeting between the Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat. In the first two meetings of this season, the Heat won 112-97 and 106-97 on October 29 and 31 respectively.
Last season, the squads played four times with the Atlanta Hawks winning three of four games. The Heat holds the all-time record having bested the Hawks in 68 of their 121matches

Trae Young continues to lead the way for his young squad and finds himself among the league-wide leaderboards sitting in fourth for scoring and fifth in assists. In the Hawks win over the Hornets, he topped his averages scoring 30 points and dishing nine assists.
Jabari Parker offered 19 points and seven assists while four reserves offered double-digit scoring with veteran Vince Carter leading the way with 17 points.
Alex Len (10), Allen Crabbe (11) and De’Andre Hunter (11) were the others in the mix. In his second game back in the lineup after missing 11 games Kevin Huerter registered nine points, six assists, and two rebounds.
On the season, Young is the team leader in points (28.8) and assists (8.4). Parker tops the team in rebounds (6.3), field goal percent (50.2) and steals (1.5). Damian Jones is the top block man with 0.9 per game.
Alex Len and Chandler Parsons are both ailing with the flu with Parsons missing the past two games but both are probable for Tuesday. John Collins will finish his suspension and be eligible to return to the lineup on December 23.
Miami Heat
Three teams in the association remain unbeaten in the NBA including the Heat (Celtics/76ers) who got their 10th win via a Sunday battle with the Bulls that required overtime to decide.

The Heat won the match despite their main man Jimmy Butler struggling from the field. He offset his poor shooting night by getting to the line 21 times (scoring 17) on route to a 23 point, seven assists, six rebound effort.
Rookie Tyler Herro led the way in scoring with 27 points off the bench and the other rookie standout Kendrick Nunn scored 18. But it was Bam Adebayo who was the star of the game producing a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds.
On the season, Kendrick Nunn is the team leader in scoring (15.3), Jimmy Butler tops the ladder for assists (6.8) and steals (2.2) while Bam Adebayo tops the rebounding (10.5), field goal percent (57.9) and blocks (1.2) team leaderboard.
The walking wounded list has grown with Adebayo potentially missing this match due to a contused groin. Justise Winslow (back) missed the last two games while Goran Dragic (groin) missed the last four games and neither will play versus the Hawks.
Udonis Haslem missed the previous four games with an illness and remains out for this match. Likewise, Dion Waiters is available having served his team mandated suspension. KZ Okpala (Achilles strain) is out with no timetable for return.
NBA Betting Trends:

Free Atlanta Hawks vs. Miami Heat NBA Prediction:
Kevin Huerter’s return to the Hawks lineup hasn’t necessarily equated to big numbers for him but his presence has provided a spark to the starters and the spacing he provides has opened the court. To that end, the Hawks got up 18 successful 3-pointers in the win over the Hornets and will look to continue that assault on Miami.
4* Free NBA Betting Pick: Heat ATS
However, the Heat boast the second-best perimeter defense (34.8%) in the association and will be dialed in to limit the Hawks.
