Kyle Busch: NASCAR 2017 First Data 500 Race Odds: 3/1
Kyle Busch comes into this race with the second best odds, even after a couple of bad weeks the last couple of weekends that have really hurt his chances to make the next round of the playoffs.
He is probably going to have to win a couple of the stages, and then finish in the top five, or win the race outright to advance.
But that isn’t out of the picture, especially coming to Kansas. He has finished in the top five in each of the last five races at Kansas.
He has had a good car most of the summer, and if he can stay out a wreck this weekend he has a good chance.
Denny Hamlin: NASCAR 2017 First Data 500 Race Odds: 5/1
I am surprised to see Kyle Larson coming into this race with such high odds. He is struggling as of late, and at Chicagoland he really struggled.
Most teams run the same set up at Chicago as they do at Kansas, so unless they have figured out something major in the last few weeks, I am staying away from Larson this weekend.
Brad Keselowski: NASCAR 2017 First Data 500 Race Odds: 6/1
Chase Elliot has been one of the best drivers on the circuit the last couple of months, but he still can’t figure out how to get that win.
An unlucky crash at Talladaga in the last few laps gave him a did not finish, after such an impressive race all afternoon.
I think this is the weekend he finally puts it all together and he puts his car into victory lane. He is my pick to come out victorious.
Jamie McMurray : NASCAR 2017 First Data 500 Race Odds: 50/1
Jamie McMurray has done a good job at Martinsville but late race bad luck has done him in the last couple of races here.
In the spring race here he had a fast car all day but he had a cut tire that ended his day with a wreck. If luck can go his way and at 50/1 he could be the big winner in this race.
AJ Allmendinger : NASCAR 2017 First Data 500 Race Odds: 100/1
AJ Allmendinger is known for his road racing, but his best course is actually at Martinsville. In 10 of his last 12 races he has finished in the top 15.
He should be up there with a a chance at the end, and his odds have a nice payout at 100/1 this weekend.
