Here is a look at MyBookie betting odds to win both this week’s race and the 2017 Monster Energy Cup title.
Kyle Busch: NASCAR 2017 Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Odds: 7/2
Kyle Bush has been fast all season, and really should have more victories then he does. But he has made a lot of a little mistakes in a bunch of races that has caused him to not have as much success as he would like.
[dfads params=’groups=248&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
He does come into this game off a victory in the last race in Bristol. In that race he didn’t make any of those mistakes and it was probably his cleanest victory of the year.
So what Kyle Busch will show up in this race is the big question?
Will it be the one who makes little mistakes that cost him? Or will it be the one who will run a flawless race on the way to another victory?
Martin Truex Jr.: NASCAR 2017 Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Odds: 7/2
Martin Truex Jr has been dominate this year at intermediate tracks, and with how fast he has been as of late, it’s no surprise to see him tied for the best odds to win this race.
He also is the reigning champ of this race, taking the lead late in last years race and holding on for the victory.
[dfads params=’groups=246&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
He also could clinch the regular season points title if he performs well enough in this race. That will earn him 15 playoff bonus points, which will be huge trying to win the post season title.
Erik Jones: NASCAR 2017 Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Odds: 18/1
Erik Jones is going to be a popular pick this weekend after his nice race at Bristol, one of the hardest tracks on the circuit.
He led over half the race and although he didn’t win, he gained a lot of confidence that should be used to gain more momentum in this race.
Although he hasn’t been great at intermediate tracks this year, he does have some value in this race.
Joey Logano: NASCAR 2017 Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Odds: 25/1
Joey Logano is a guy with a little longer odds that I like in this race. He has taken a step back this year, but he hasn’t performed terribly.
He still has one win and 11 top ten finishes. He seems to be fighting his car a lot, and has gotten into a few unlucky crashes.
If his car is on this weekend, he could be sitting in victory race at the end of this one.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.: NASCAR 2017 Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Odds: 80/1
Who would have thought coming into this season that Dale Jr would be sitting at 80/1 heading into his last race at Darlington.
But that is the position he is sitting at. There is really no reason to believe he will win this race, but he is a good driver, and if the car is good this weekend, he should be able to at least be in contention in this one.
