Last Sunday at Chicagoland, Martin Truex Jr. took the checkered flag to pave his way into the next round of the Chase. Joey Logano was second in that race and rookie Chase Elliott turned in a strong showing by taking third.

The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday’s race at New Hampshire based on betting odds provided by MyBookie.
2016 NASCAR Bad Boys Off Road 300 Odds: The Favorite (odds of less than 10/1)
There is a trio of drivers listed as +650 favorites to win on Sunday that include both Kevin Harvick and last week’s winner Martin Truex Jr., but I am going with Kyle Busch as my top favorite to take the checkered flag at New Hampshire.
The four-time winner this season has been anything but hot lately with seventh-straight finishes outside the Top 5, but this is the time of the year when the No. 18 Toyota is at its best given what we witnessed in last year’s run to a title.
I also like the fact that Busch has had some recent success at this track with a victory and three other second-place finishes here since 2013.
2016 NASCAR Bad Boys Off Road 300 Odds: The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
While many racing experts may have given up on Jimmie Johnson’s chances to win a title this season with just one Top 5 run in his last 14 Sprint Cup events, he is still one of the best overall drivers in this year’s Chase.
His odds to break out of this extended slump with a win this Sunday have been set at +1150 and given the consistency he has shown in the past at New Hampshire I believe there is some solid value in that number.

Going back to a victory in the first race at this track in 2010, Johnson has guided the No. 48 Chevrolet to a finish of seventh or better in eight of 13 point-race events.
2016 NASCAR Bad Boys Off Road 300 Odds: The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
I have been waiting patiently all season long for rookie driver Chase Elliott to cross the finish line first in a Sprint Cup point-race event and this could be the week my patience finally pays off.
Following last week’s impressive third-place run in his first ever Chase event, I really like the value in his +2000 betting odds to finally take that next step with an outright win.
He has shown some tremendous poise taking over the reins for Jeff Gordon in the No. 24 Chevrolet with eight Top 5 finishes on the year and I think the momentum from last week’s run could be enough to push him past the field this Sunday at New Hampshire.
